Firehouse Subs Celebrates Grand Opening at Bristol Plaza in Bristol CT, Monday, December 12, 2017

(December, 2017; Bristol, CT)—BLACKLINE Retail Group and Federal Realty Investment Trust proudly announce the opening of Firehouse Subs, a fast casual restaurant chain founded in 1994 in Jacksonville, Florida by former firefighter brothers Robin and Chris Sorensen. The menu features a variety of gourmet sandwiches made with high quality meats and cheeses.

The grand opening was held on Monday, December 12, 2017. Having already expanded to over 1000 locations total, this is the chain’s second Connecticut location.

“Things were going well for us in Glastonbury and we were looking to expand,” said Firehouse franchisee Jeff Finnerty, “Bristol was a great spot for us. It was a good real-estate opportunity and a community that matched our values of being a hardworking family restaurant.”

For every purchase, Firehouse Subs donates a portion of the proceeds to Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation which provides funding, life-saving equipment, and educational opportunities to first-responders and public safety organizations.
